For the first half of my life I thought I was going to be a lawyer. In college I discovered that there were real careers where drawing wasn’t just about doodles in your note books. I’ve built a design career on passion, hard work, and a love for learning new things. Now 20 or so years later, I’ve had the opportunity to work and learn from amazing people along the way.

Beyond work, I love to make things, some of it is art, some of it is food, some of it is random things I make to delight my small human. For the last 14 years I’ve also organized a bicycle food drive called the Supermarket Street Sweep. For the last 6 years I’ve also invested in 826 Valencia as a volunteer, donor, and consultant.

Otherwise I love to run, cycle, and swim, but am not a triathlete. It helps keep the mind and the body healthy, and did I mention I’m a curious eater?

Started at Continental Airlines working on one of the web’s first ticket engines.

2005

Spent two years at Yahoo! Last role: design manager for Yahoo! Travel.

2008

Co-founded Songbird, an open source media player built on the Mozilla platform.

2010

Scaled Minted.com business and design team with founders Mariam and Melissa. Last role: Sr. Director of UX.

2017

Independent consultant working with early stage start-ups. Clients: Polyvore, Plated, Evertoon, Karat.

2019

The product designer at Euclid. Lead both product design and strategy; acquired by WeWork.
